Listen to any good podcasts lately? I need all the recommendations! I’m trying to get 10,000 steps every day, and I’ve found that I look forward to it when I can also listen to a good podcast. I like almost everything, but I’m especially obsessed with true crime 🤗. ⠀⁣

How is it already almost Martin Luther King Day??!! I don’t know if time moving quickly is a good thing or a bad thing these days. I hate feeling like I’m wishing away the days, but I also can’t wait until the pandemic is behind us. 🤞 ⁣
⁣
Here’s a simple, yet extremely meaningful activity for honoring MLK Day: After reading/discussing Dr. King’s “I Have A Dream” speech, have students select 10-15 words from the speech to use in an original found poem. It’s a great opportunity to discuss the power of words and connotation. Final drafts should be amazing!! More ideas for MLK Day are on the blog. (Link in Bio) ⠀⠀⁣
